I showed The Jellicle Barbie which she had managed to miss due to global pandemics. She spent most of it going “what the fuck?” and fixating on Allan. It’s a good movie to hide in.
It’s one reaction to the pandemic and I think the other is fascism. Stamping down on the weird as a reaction.
And with fascism I need to simultaneously hide and do something so I’m sharing everything I can about the genocide in Palestine… I dunno maybe it is slacktivism but I’m not sure what else I can do and I’m hiding in tiny little joys and volunteering with Manchester Pride.
