My cousin E who lives in Liverpool (and is the one getting married in December not the one getting married in July) just lost her job. I love her and I’m really sorry that she did, but she lost her teaching job for exactly the same reasons that I lost mine in January ie. the school dicked her about vis-a-vis SMT and department not talking to each other. I really do wish she hadn’t lost her job but it kind of makes me feel a bit better about mine…
