When I was growing up Section 28 really screwed up my adolescent coming out. Twenty years later and the fucking Tories are doing it again.
The Gender recognition Act is almost 20 years old and it’s not perfect but at the moment it’s not done too badly.
This year though the government wants to creep its way back into schools and colleges and cause as many problems for the adolescents of today as Thatcher’s government did for mine.
I am so angry and upset about this I can’t even write a proper post, things have been getting so much better and now they want to fuck around with safe spaces again.
I don’t know what to do about it, I’ve written my opinions in on consultations I’ve, hell done what I could think of, signed petitions, but honestly I don’t know what to do. Ideas sought.
